The table is made from 8/4 (legs), and 6/4 (top and apron) walnut. It measures 2400mm x 1000mm and comfortably seats 8. The legs are angled (and tapered) to give it the mid-century modern look while still providing a tonne of stability. 

Rather than breadboards at the ends, 18mm steel C-channel was used to prevent the table from cupping over time.

To add some visual interest, two lines were routed on each end and filled with brass tinted epoxy.
